🌱 #Needle #Palm / #Rhapidophyllum hystrix has underground stems and is as hardy as Sabal minor. Growing on a flood plain in heavy clay here. Wicked needles surround the crown and the large seed pods smell quite rancid.

Cider horse here is no sparkle pony. She is a plow horse and knows gee and haw for right and left with stop, go, fast and slow. And she pulls the composting cart and gives kids rides.
