This is Josie as a puppy, about two and a half years ago:
A small white and gray dog showing a mostly white face, chest, belly, and forelegs with some gray on them. She’s half on her side, looking past the viewer as if over our left shoulder. Instead of perked up, her ears are down.

A Kellogg’s Fun Pack of eight small boxes of breakfast cereals. Is I le from left to right are: Froot Loops with their red box and rainbow-beaked cartoon toucan, Frosted Flakes in their blue box with mascot Tony the Tiger, Cocoa Krispies in a brown box with Snap, Crackle, and Pop, the Rice Krispies cartoon characters, and finally in a yellow box, Corn POPS, the word POPS is in red. I’m old enough to remember when these were called Sugar POPS! Not visible on the other side of the package is one green box of Apple Jacks. There are two boxes each of Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, and Cocoa Krispies.

OK, dog walked (fully productive!), sheets & towels are washed, towels put away, bed remade. Kitchen counter cleaned, dishes done. Now to clean the bathroom and sweep. Dog gets dinner at 3 or 3:30, then our last walk for this time together. Her humans are home tonight, at “Grandma’s” from when I go.

Not leaving the dog-sit until tomorrow, but taking most of my stuff home today, so the dog was slightly freaking out earlier. Now we’re snuggled on the couch.

A small, round cheese in its wrapper. The label is a red circle with white and orange in the middle. CALIFORNIA ORIGINAL it reads in an arc at the top, then red letters on the white part of the label, MARIN FRENCH CHEESE CO. SINCE 1865. Below that in the orange section of the label, the name of the cheese Petite Breakfast Fresh Brie. This is a very nice cheese. I’m about to spread some on sliced sourdough toast.

False hope.

I just enjoyed the sunset tonight instead!

Then I went inside, sat down, looked out the window and…up. Astonishing! Here are the pictures from directly beneath…the tallest damn flower stalk I have ever seen, including monster sunflowers!
Flowers in pale purple that appear to be blooming amongst apple and crabapple trees, well over ten feet high! Same plant and trees as described in the previous ALT text, but I forgot to describe the glaring light through the high thin gray and white clouds.

Out picking up fallen apples to throw down the hill for any passing critters (and hopefully keep rats out of the yard) and noticed this apparent dahlia massacre in the yard. OK, an animal brought this over the fence. 1/2
