Earthy’s injured unfortunately. No idea why Guilherme wasn’t on the bench as our only option for pace outside of Bowen. Only positive for today is it surely means certain players won’t be selected again.

Felt we rode our luck in pre-season and it papered over some glaring issues even then. Every one who watches us knew we needed 2 new CMs, a new CB, a striker and a winger, along with full backs. We’ve signed none of them and the same issues are still there as a result and still being exploited.

We’re just a genuinely bad team. Not been this confident of relegation since the Uncle Avram season. No idea where we’re going to pick points up from over the next 6 games.

And still only won 2 opening games in the last 10 seasons.

Need more in the midfield and defence too. Think it’s going to take 2 Summers to fix the transfer deals of the last 3 seasons.

I know. As I’ve said before, there’s 7/8 players I’d still keep for next season. In an ideal world the rest would be sold or contracts/loans not renewed. But a lack of funds means that’s incredibly unlikely.

Problem is we’ve a midfield that offers no to minimal protection. We should just be thankful the 3 promoted sides have been so poor this season, because any other year we’d be bang in trouble.
