Our ability to help any side or player on a poor run suddenly get a goal or a win is second to none. Barely laid a glove on a poor Liverpool side who no doubt will lose to Sunderland and Leeds. Poor from us.

So when there was a ‘murmur’ on snicko yesterday for the Aussies, it wasn’t enough to overturn it. When it happens against England, more than enough to give it out. Absolutely shocking umpiring.

Inevitable. It’s actually painful to watch.
I’m a big fan of us constantly giving Spurs corners, despite the fact that we are utterly inept at defending them.

We’ve done some awful transfer business at West Ham, but spending £40 million on Max Killman is probably the worst decision we’ve ever made, which is quite the achievement.

We never win the opening game, we have a poor record at the Stadium of Light, facing a newly promoted side and are fielding the slowest central midfield possible in the Prem. It’s going to be a painful 90 minutes, but at least sets the tone for the season.

Every week I become more and more amazed that anybody at West Ham thought Kilman was worth £40 million. One of our worst transfer deals, which is saying something.

Just going to repeat this. So many players who don’t look interested or like they want to be there. That along with an aging squad and players out of contract means it’s going to be an interesting Summer. Real work to be done.
Honestly looking at that squad, there’s about 8-10 I’d keep for next season, issue is I’m not sure who’d want to buy some of the players we need to ship out. Mixed with an aging squad it’s a recipe for disaster really.

The amount of surgery needed to this squad is scary, especially when you consider the outlay last summer. Outside of Scarles not sure I’d keep any of the defence who played today, frightening considering what we’ve paid for them, and if someone bids £60 million for Kudus I’d snap their hand off.

Our lack of any real creativity in midfield is worrying. Playing 5 at the back is all well and good, but as soon as we concede we don’t offer any type of threat.

Outside of the opening 5 minutes we’ve not been great. Slow on the ball, lack of any attempts at progressive passes and seems to be a lack of communication/awareness between the players. Making it far too easy for Newcastle right now.
