Filigree Fancy: Orca May!

Part of a series of artworks I've been wanting to try, some sort of illustration, but with fancy matching filigree borders :3

The latest new thing Ive attached to (hah) is body part TF/swaps that aren't just, one body part; more like a taur. Just not in usual taur places with the usual taur body parts

Im not sure if thats the way that particular modpack allows tou to be derg, but you can attack least create your own models this way too. Im sure theres also plenty of existing bases you can find and edit to your preferences

Theres two ways to make custom player models. The requisite mods are either "custom Player Models" or "Figura" (I think), and youll need supporting framework mods

Then either directly through CPM or using blockbench (a voxel based 3d modeling software) you can make and then import it into the game

Finally got on myself to do some lore Gposes for my FF14 character! (You'd think having played for 300 days I'd talk about it more lmao)

FF14!May is a researcher in the field of Aetheroconductivity, the study of how Aether is conducted through materials, like in Arcanist ink!

After putting it off I finally wrapped up an updated version of the "Knightly" May ref! I also doodled up some more weapon choices past just normal swords for fun(tm) :3

A variation of the previous image, where the ghostly body parts have had their opacity lowered to appear less sold and more spectral. This shows the human body parts underneath the fox spirit ones as if the spectral body parts are overlaid over her body, rather than her body having been properly transformed or changed.

Latrapandalis, Bellowing Myth!

A strange construct in the form of a creature which hails from an ageless story of knights, kings, and beasts. Its serpentine body is lined with vibrating membranes that produce all manner of sounds, but especially deafening bellows which stagger and disorientate.
An original creature design inspired or based on the Questing Beast of Arthurian legend. The creature in the drawing features a long cobra-like head and neck, the body and front legs of a giraffe, the hindquarters of a leopard, and a club-like mechanical tail. However, some of the features are mechanical, made of metal, wires, and other artificial materials, while other features are more organic. The creature is posed in a hunting posture and seems to be climbing down a castles rampart while eyeing prey. The face of the cobra has been replaced by a glass window which shows a series of record-like disks in a tier mechanism. There are some other mechanical details like brackets and pulleys on wheels next to the series of disks. On the tip of the nose is a square cut crystal set into a metal mount on the glass. On each side of the cobra head is a speaker dish. The hooded neck of the creature is comprised of a series of larger speaker dishes and a cascading series of thick cables, intended to be audio cables, that wind down the back on the neck and along the side. On the underside of the neck is a series of interlinked metal plates. The body of the creature is similar to that of a giraffes, but the back of the body is exposed to show more metal components, cables, and another set of speakers. Running along the spine and down to the end of the tail of the creature is another cable with rings around its width, intended to resemble the strip of fur that runs down a giraffes back. The two front legs of the creature are mechanical in nature, featuring a large ball joint-like shoulder mechanism, cutouts of the metal in the forelegs, and mechanical giraffe-like hooves. The rear legs are similar to that of a leopard in shape and size, but feature more organic hooves for feet rather than paws. The creature body ends in a cable covered tail which is club-like and hosts another series of speakers, all connected by thick cables which seem to branch from the spine cable.

Solvarti, Helical Eclipse!

A spirit bent on consuming the heat of the universe to sate an insatiable hunger. Once the newborn of a sun, it was corrupted by the primal fear of losing that suns light, a fear which causes it to steal that heat for itself so it can ensure its own survival above others.

The wispy shapes in the center of the sun are being drawn towards the creatures mouth to imply that it is sucking the energy from the sun into its mouth and body. The salamanders head is arrow shaped, with two rounded points at each end, and a slightly curved natural edge, rather than a hard artificial one. A rock like pattern spreads down from behind two pupil-less eyes to the end tips of the head shape. From the inside edge of the arrow sprout a set of two hoop-like forms which resemble solar flare arches like that can be found on the surface of the sun due to magnetic currents. Each set of hoops are made of three hoops, two smaller ones on each side of a middle larger one. The creatures body is slightly pudgy, and has long rounded scale-like patterning on its stomach area down to just past the base of its tail. From the side of its body, just behind its front legs, are another set of solar hoops, this time only two hoops. At the end of a long tail is another set of three solar hoops, two smaller ones on each side of a larger one. Its hands and feet are simple four fingered hands with simple clawed tips and webbing in between each digit. The background of the image shows a rocky ground, and a nearly clear sky with the implication of clouds in a ring-like pattern to better highlight the lack of a sun in the sky, and in turn, to highlight the sun-like sphere in the creatures jaw. The text on the images reads, "Solvarti", "Helical Eclipse", "Cosmic spirit", and the number 142.

Solovis, Helical Offspring!

A celestial spirit spawned by solar energy and formed by reverence and worship of the sun. Myths say the larval creatures contained within these fiery eggs are the offspring of the sun, and upon hatching, they grow into stars that create new solar systems.

After so many attempts, I have finally created one of the most needed Mays...

SEA SLUG MAY!!!!!

I had some preliminary concepts going into this, but having one more key idea (The frill as a sunhat), caused me to stop everything I had been doing to make a sketch, and Im O so happy with the result!
