29. One I liked so much more than I thought is Sonic 3 and Knuckles- more than any of the classic 2D Mario games. Wanted to play it again immediately post-credits.
30. Favorite is Mother 3 and this is my current Top 50, in order

Precise Platforming, Exceptional OST by Lena Raine, excellent sense of progression. Celeste is visually appealing, if a tad generic, and welcoming to newcomers due to it's infinite lives system.

It is incomprehensible how much fun this game was to play, from start to finish. Quite possibly the most appealing visuals I've ever seen in a game- the shadows in the ticket station before you step outside for example. Without spoilers, you must play HL1 and HL2, period.

Fantastic 2D Platformer with tight movement, exceptional Gameboy Sprite art, fun boss designs and some of the more unique Mario world visual themes in the series. Must play when running through Mario's history.

Having already played through the 2D Metroid entries I was intrigued to see how it transitioned to 3D, and it did so wonderfully. Bosses were a tad easy but the map feels rich despite being fairly compact, making backtracking palatable.

Completely lives up to the hype, all-time OST, exceptional art design, Alucard feels great movement wise, cool boss fights and a surprisingly simple RPG system.
