Personal account of Quinton Lucas, Mayor of Kansas City. “Aldi-Brand Obama.”
Day Pass for Parks and Rec gym = $5.00

Bottle of Water = $1.00

Child Worn Out Before Noon on Rainy Saturday = Priceless

There are some things money can’t buy, for everything else there’s Kansas City Parks and Rec.

It was a beautiful evening yesterday for the 96th annual Plaza Lighting Ceremony. Great crowds and early holiday cheer.

Every year I’ve been mayor, I’ve stopped by WDAF-TV to talk Thanksgiving in Kansas City. This year, we carved the turkey right side up (!) and I shared that there are no regular season sports bets.

Hope y’all keep enjoying the day! See you on the Plaza tonight. #KCBaby

Proud of new CPKC Pavilion on the (current) terminus of streetcar. Looking ahead to thousands more residents, new local businesses, and great park space. The riverfront is our founding and our future.

Collab by Port KC + Kansas City Streetcar Authority + CPKC + KCMO and more!

In Kansas City, we can respect the past while planning for a bright, dynamic, and competitive future, and that's the step essential as we plan for the future of Kansas City's century-old Country Club Plaza.
