Big day for nerds. 5th century and 12th century church disputes (yes, AND not through. Pound sand 6th-10th century! (I also like 11th but only the tail-end)) will be the sexiest conversation topic on my honeymoon.

The library is finally together! Alphabetized and sorted by genre and sub genre. It’s not Dewey but it’s good enough.

I dont care what you say: Frankfort has La Mixteca and this has made Indiana numero uno in Mexican food. Best Carne Asada I’ve ever had.

This is only half of the house but I loaded a 400 pound piano with my Dad and Fiancé using nothing but willpower and a couple dolly’s. Messed up part is that we have to unload it LOL.

Like dog. “Less regulatory burden” might as well just say you want to kill as many people as possible with pollution, skyrocketing electric bills, and a lack of sustainable resources.

2015 vs today. I lost a lot of photos from high school so this is the best I got. Poor lil Lijah had no idea the whirlwind that was heading his way. Think he’d be horrified and yet so proud that we made it through.

My honest reaction to that.

My mentor, George Hagman, just republished his book “The Psychoanalysis of Aesthetic Experience: Self Relationship and Culture” with three added chapters to it. I can’t recommend it enough for the analytic creative. His voice is so clear and engaging in his writing. Congrats George!

Shoutouts to Saba for some of my favorite music—music that picked me up and got me through some of my darkest days. Front row was a blessing. Thanks for coming to Indianapolis!!!

Here’s baby lij doing theater. This lil guy deserves a hug from me right now but I think we’d both find each other very, very cringe.

I think he absolutely nails the ideas…I want to intellectualize it too but I really like how Matthias applies Girard’s ideas. This paragraph is the exact reason why I haven’t posted anything on my website. Writing about whiteness as a white man is so…odd. And it’s because of what he describes.

Saw my first horror flick. Sinners made me feel so much more emotion than fear, but I definitely almost peed my pants a couple times. I came in knowing nothing about the film, and it is a vampire story that I haven’t felt so captivated by since Dracula and “The Historian”. Strong recommendation!!!
