The only thing you really need to remember about Chiles v. Salazar is that ADF couldn't find any children harmed by not being able to find counselors who will practice conversion therapy—

so they rely on anonymous complaints on Reddit.

So-called “conversion therapy” is an abusive pseudoscience that has been rejected by EVERY major medical and mental health organization.

New data: 518,940 clinician-provided abortions occurred in US states without total bans during the first half of 2025—a 5% decline from the same period in 2024. Out-of-state travel for abortion also declined by 8% over this period.

He has previously indicated his willingness to restrict mifepristone, one of two drugs used in the most common medication abortion regimen.
