Had the same problem with all different components except I had the same Corsair PSU. Replaced with a Superflower PSU and never had the problem happen again. Friend at work replaced their Corsair PSU for same reason and it also fixed his problem.

Arguably the guidance was long overdue even then. The most frustrating aspect is that so many people who took the initial NIST guidance won’t accept the new guidance.
