Some interactive foliage I worked on a while ago when first experimenting with this sort of thing.
I'm eager to learn some other methods for this and see if it can work on a range of assets. but I do love me some interaction, even in a basic form.

Thought I may as well re-post this here.
Some experimentation I did a while back with water based foliage for a potential scene. Was fun to work on the water shader and some funky stuff for the surface algae. could be cool to take this further.
