What do you mean "when beer was introduced"? Beer has been brewed here since before the Romans turned up

And finally, Yeats:
"I have spread my dreams under your feet, tread softly because you tread on my dreams"

So confused, I don't remember writing this post but it's definitely what I would have chosen.

Sorry, off topic slightly but I was happy to see the same fridge magnets from Higglebees pin badge club that we've got on our fridge!

My point was that you're pathologising the people who are happy to go to a concert alone.
You do what you like, dude, but I think you're reading this wrong.

That sounds like a you problem. Suicidal people are the least likely to be attending a concert alone. Have you any concept of how hard it is to even leave the house for essential trips in that state, never mind going to a concert alone.

Protein was my personal bugbear a couple of years ago when it first started. I had to stop and learn to ignore it when it became so ubiquitous because my daughter was fed up of me having a meltdown every week doing the shopping.

Aha that was a good punchline

Yes! I genuinely avoid using vending machines these days because I can't make them work for me. But I've consoled myself by watching many people trying and failing to use the hot drink vending machine at work - it's a relief to know I'm not the only one.

So hard to choose...
As a child it was Quarry Bank Mill obviously.
These days it would be Brimham Rocks for a day outdoors and perhaps Speke Hall for interiors.

Absolutely my most hated animal. I get triggered by the sound of them. When I was a small child we used to get escaped peacocks from a nearby "farm". They used to sit in our trees and shriek then crap all over the lawn. Plus one was all white and looked very freaky hiding in the foliage. Nope.

"she's gone through so much to get to this, why wouldn't I believe she's a woman".
My daughter is in her 20s. We are all united as trans allies and our generation has nothing to do with it.
It's a choice to be kind and inclusive and we make that choice every day.

Due to this dickhead CEO I finally deleted it last weekend. It was a real wrench because my streak was over 2,200 days but I actually feel a lot better now I've got that owl off my back.
I'm going to test out some other language apps.

I can save you the trouble. Daughter was curious but had only one mouthful then threw it away. Not because it tastes bad. It just doesn't taste of anything at all.
Have a normal mac n cheese and crumble some wotsits into it if you want cheesiness because this aint it.

YES. If only to give me another reference instead of "ear cataracts" - I use it too often and nobody gets it
