I guess he's working for Heritage, now.

That's the thing, though: The can achieve respect, but they'd need to change their opinions to do it, and they see change as tantamount to defeat, as giving into the shame that's pushing them to change.
They want us to respect their opinions more than we respect facts, and that's not happening.

They want us to respect them and their ideas as equals, they want the recognition.
The problem is, of course, that no smart institution is going to hire someone to teach ecology who thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax.

I remember one guy describing the Republicans as a hurricane and the Democratic party as a rickety old shed, they were complaining that the shed wasn't good enough to protect them from the coming natural disaster.

It's tough, because we want to protect people, we voted to protect people, it's in our blood. Is there any doubt that Democrats would vote for a farm bailout at a time when American farms are going bankrupt?
Democrats don't like inflicting pain, it's not in our wheelhouse.

Jeffries is doing it wrong because he's [checks notes] delivering a speech on a Friday, he should have picked a different rock.
Granted, he's been giving speeches and press releases all week, all of which also got ignored, but those were the wrong rock, too.

Not including the voting, and the marches, and the protests, and the lawsuits, and the obstruction, and the speech; if you ignore liberal's words and deeds, it's like they're not doing anything at all!
