Kinda cooked that I keep seeing all these clips of charlie kirk and part of me is just going “that’s an SM7B. That’s an RE20.” They’re not fascist microphones, those are just the two main mics for podcast guys. Slash broadcast guys. Fairly sure John Laws was an RE20 guy

My take: world leaders expressing concern or qualified criticism of Israel at various points isn’t significant and it doesn’t mark a tipping point. It’s about managing outrage domestically, as part of a longer-term strategy of providing conditions for the genocide to continue.

Was about to have an opinion about the first two foo fighters records and was working myself up to say it’s basically just power pop and fairly good at that but on closer inspection I’m walking it back. Like obviously it’s cheese but aside from the big songs the writing is patchier than I remember

I feel like this isn’t so much about Albo, and that loathing the Greens is an issue for Labor at an institutional level. In seats where the Greens are competitive, many if not all of their campaigners are flat out psychopathic about the Greens. Some might argue this is mutual!!
The biggest problem with the ALP right now is it is led by someone who irrationally hates the Greens.
He doesn't really like to "fight Tories"; he loves to fight the party that reveals his actual lack of "left-wing" positions.
Someone needs to tell him to get over his uni politics crap.
