This leads to the hardest question, for me at least, in all of theology, “Why does god hate us?” On one side is the most extreme pretzel logic and on the other the simple explanation that it was all bullshit made up to keep people in line and maintain the status quo.

Mark, this is why what you say doesn’t work. You have to be smart enough not to be fooled by bad actors. And that has to be learned first. Also the energy cost is destructive.
