I’ve been inundated with what appears to be AI generated spam offering to help promote my books. Coming from “people” with wild, made-up names. One example below. Is anyone else getting this? Wonder what the point of this scam is?

I am being driven bonkers by a deluge of fundraising texts from some Democratic campaign firm which thinks my name is Carol. I keep blocking individual texts but new ones keep appearing! More intrusive than junk mail. I’m not even a Democrat.
