Alma is more of the librarian side of things (cataloging, acquisitions, etc) that has a couple patron-facing features. Primo is more patron-facing discovery, but they’re very intertwined and they try to get institutions to buy both.

When viewing the fake article in Google scholar on my university network, there is a link to access the article via my uni's library. That link sends me to a library page that makes fake article appear real... Turns out library page is made programmatically from info on Google scholar 🤦

This looks an awful lot like the Alma public interface, owned by Ex Libris, which also owns Primo, which is used a lot for library discovery.
