Seagulls Incorporated flew tonight in an "arrive-on-time" challenge. Using big jets, pick a departure, minimum 1 hr from a stated destination, lodge a flightplan & arrive as close to an appointed time as possible. I flew 2.5hrs from SPTU (PERU) to SBCY(BRAZIL) & missed winning by 3 minutes. Bugger!

We fly several times a week using MSFS (2020) using light aircraft, general aviation and commercial passenger jets. Tonight was a 2 hour freight run, my mount was the Airbus A300-600RF. I'm learning more of this aircraft every time I fly it.

Three of us flew KSFO-KSAN this evening. Apparently KSAN is listed as one of the world's 25 most dangerous airports to approach. We found out why. Low cloud or fog. Overcast to 800' with the approach requiring a close turn to mountains. I had to go missed but survived to land safely
