This is what I know… Erika Kirk, and many other spouses tonight, did not think they would be a widow at such a young age. Mr. Kirk’s two children, along with many others, did not think they would fall asleep tonight having a parent that died violently. I grieve for all of these people.

Blood Suger Sex Magic, the album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was released in September 1991. I was a senior in high school.

Listening to my 13 year old son sing songs from that album in 2025, was not on my bingo card.

I’m so conflicted. Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz, arguably the two most despicable human beings, had an argument. I found myself agreeing with Tucker. My world has been shattered

Dear non-disabled people,

If you need to make a total mess of a bathroom stall, please avoid doing so in the accessible stall.

Most of us do not have the option to use another stall. That means if you trash the one big stall, we are unable to use the restroom.

Signed,

Disabled people

WELKER: When does it become the Trump economy?

TRUMP: It partially is right now. I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy

Voice to text certainly has benefits, but not in a waiting room.

Two years ago I had brain surgery. I will never be 100% physically again. I am the Town Supervisor of a small town of about 4,000 people in the Hudson Valley. I am absolutely sure that I would be a more competent President than the current occupant of the White House.

Tonight I bought more jellybeans than a person should buy. I was told it was jellybean season, though.

Me: I’m not a fan of fans.

My partner without missing a beat: I’m not a clock of clocks.

And, I’m done…

Donald Trump is starting to sound like that guy from Germany in the late 1930’s…

Damn right, I went sledding! I may be 50 years old. I may have had brain surgery 18 months ago. I’m also still alive!

I read a book today—one I bought over 5 years ago.

Books don’t have deadlines—they wait for you, patiently, until the moment is right.

I am not in favor of the death penalty. However, we need to talk about people that play videos on their phone at full volume in a waiting room. Those people deserve a very harsh punishment.

This holiday season, try and see it from someone else's point of view. The moose isn't crossing the road, the road is crossing her home.

Do you know how much CEO pay has skyrocketed since 1978?

100%? 500%?

Try 1,085%

Meanwhile, the $7.25/hr fed. minimum wage hasn't budged in 15 years and the tipped min. wage has been $2.13/hr since 1991.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
CEO Pay Has Risen 1,085% Since 1978, But for Workers? Just 24% | Common Dreams
CEOs at top US companies saw their pay skyrocket by 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay only increased by 24%

Sometimes I use a cane, mostly if I expect to be in a crowded place. People are significantly nicer when I have my cane. We can be that nice all of the time.

150 billionaire families spent $1.9B on the 2024 election through October.

It's a huge amount of money — but it represents just 0.07% of their overall wealth.

It essentially costs them nothing to drown our democracy in cash.

We must get big money out of our politics.
