Yeah, this. The fact that they're treating this so differently than other murders--including others that happened in NY on the same day--is probably not sending the message they want it to.
The hunt for the person who took out CEO Brian Thompson has now gone nationwide with the FBI joining in.
On average there are 44 murders per day in the USA, but none of those people are rich enough to dominate the news cycle for a full week.
School shootings don't get 1/4th this much attention.

Yeah, this. The fact that they're treating this so differently than other murders--including others that happened in NY on the same day--is probably not sending the message they want it to.
OK, more thoughts. LE does have some problems. The endgame loop is even more "repeat same" than D4, and while I love the idea of the factions, I HATE that I can have items in my stash that a character can't use because it's the wrong faction. I earned it, let me use it. 1/

Bought Last Epoch last Friday on Steam sale. I am now in character number 3. My first two are at 78 and 81. D4 is prettier with a more fleshed out story, but I think the gameplay is way better in LE. The item system is worlds better and the skill system is galaxies better. 1/2

Arcane is on hell of a ride. A bit more open threads for a final episode than I'd like, but excellent storytelling anyway. The soundtrack and mixed animation styles for certain sceness was brilliantly effective.
