Indeed. Amazing to me how many folks want to “help” people qualify for better jobs but cannot/refuse to see that the real problem is the crummy jobs not individuals’ qualifications

Well right because it’s connected to the lives of the people who bankroll the party, which are very disconnected from the vast majority of Americans. Eg-dem Econ official, “why do people go on about raising the minimum wage? we can reach more people in need with EITC”
