Reminds me of this Star Trek episode. A former captain set up a society based on Nazi Germany thinking it had its good points; but then they drugged him and made him a figurehead and the whole thing went down the path you'd think it would.

Aww, she's beautiful. She reminds me of our old dog Angel who passed in 2023, except their gray spots are on opposite sides! In this picture her gray spot is starting to go white around her eye; eventually it disappeared altogether.

People forget not everyone loved FDR. He had plenty of enemies. They referred to him as "That man in the White House." He said he "welcomed their hatred." See link for part of his speech and attachment for the words. Not much has changed since then, sadly.
