This is a great moment to share this pic I came across! I was scrolling through an old album and noticed who was standing in the background of this photo from the 2017 Women's March in Monroe, LA. It's encouraging to see a candidate not just talk the talk, but also walk the walk... literally!

This poem, "On a Morning When Everything Feels Heavy," came out of the first week I went back to work after my dad's funeral. It's that staggering feeling of loss mixed with the pressure of a world that just keeps going.

I'm honored to have it included in Shift: A Journal of Literary Oddities 💞

I’m a little late sharing, but three of my visual poems were published in swifts & slows at Arteidolia. These pieces let me stitch fragments and small drawings into something between poem and spell. I'm happy they found a home.

Between presence and absence, memory and silence. Grateful to see "Schrodinger's Call" in Naugatuck River Review. It's a poem written in the wake of my father's passing. 💞

I love Anodyne for creating such a raw, honest space for real, unfiltered voices. It’s a safe, supportive home for important work. Please read their online content, and subscribe or buy a copy! I have two pieces in Vol. 4 that explore some of my personal reactions to trauma.

After reading "For Desire" by Kim Addonizio, I felt compelled to respond with a poem of my own, rooted in dissociation. I'm happy to share that it’s published today in SLANT!

Last year, something shifted—I knew I couldn’t sit on my creative work any longer. Turning 40 this year lit a fire in me to see my name in ink. Exceeded my publishing goal this year, with more to come! Here’s to showing up for our art. 💪✨ #writingcommunity #artistjourney #makeart
