One of my all-time favourite recipes, invented by yours truly.

Salmon Stew
Ingredients:
1 T garlic chili paste (can be substituted by adding more fresh garlic, chili powder, and cayenne)
3 cloves garlic
2 limes
1 can coconut milk
1 good-sized slab of salmon
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
¼ white onion, chopped
2-3 green onions (can be substituted for an additional ¼ white onion).
Salt
1 tomato chopped (or half a can of chunky tomatoes)

Recipe:
Crush or food process together 2 cloves of garlic, juice of 1.5 limes, salt (to taste), half the chopped bunch of cilantro, the green onions (or half the white onion), and the chili-lime paste.
Remove the salmon from its skin and cut it into chunks. Size to your preference, it tends to fall apart in the stew.
Marinade the salmon, , the tomatoes, and the white onion in the food processed/crushed mix for half an hour. Add cold water as needed to cover the salmon.
Reserve one clove of garlic, the remaining half of the chopped cilantro, and the remaining half lime.
Put a large stew pan on medium / medium low heat and add about a tablespoon of neutral cooking oil.
Once the oil is hot, remove the salmon chunks from the marinade and cook them in the oil, stirring occasionally. Reserve the marinade to be added later.
If you like a thicker stew, add 1-2 tbsp of cornstarch to the cooking salmon and stir well.
Once the salmon is browned, add the can of coconut milk and the remaining marinade. Simmer until the broth is as thick as desired. Add more water if it thickens too quickly (before the salmon can cook).
Just before serving, turn off the heat and grate in the remaining clove of garlic, add the remaining cilantro and the juice of the remaining lime and stir. Salt to taste.
Serve over white rice.

The NYT piece, after describing how democrats had prevented the redraw up until now by refusing to return, inexplicably claims they have "no power."

They have power, they're just selfish cowards who refuse to use it.

The walkout did not change the raw political dynamics in Republican-dominated Texas, and Democrats remained in the situation they were in before they left: powerless to permanently stop the new map from being adopted. When that happens, as expected, they have vowed to challenge its legality.

The premise here is incorrect. Democrats have loudly *claimed* to be promoting popular policies to become popular but have, in fact, largely promoted unpopular conservative policies.

It has been easy for people to laugh at this.
"She's not real. It's too far. My kids knew straight away!"
But how many professionals on LinkedIn use - almost rely - on AI tools every day?
To sense check.
To shape decisions.
To act as a sounding board.
And it's the same reason 150k people follow Mia.
They feel a connection.
Of course we know she's not real.
We know it's not real when we ask ChatGPT to write/design/create/draw it's not real either.
But we need an output and we feel the connection.
And that's ok.
It's ok to seek a new perspective.
It's ok to be unsure and want non-judgmental advice.
It's ok to want someone in your corner.
The difference is, they need to be real.
Not artificial. Not automated. Not performing. Just honest, human, listening, challenging,
and helping you think better.
