Very scary to see the news this morning. Found this read from a few days ago basically arguing that nothing good can come of airstrikes on Iran (obviously). Wonder if Trump considered the long term costs - probably not.
If we're headed for regime change in Iran, get ready for a military draft. We'll need one.
Our leaders seem interested in toppling Iran's theocracy. But do they want a new U.S. military draft? Because make no mistake, that's what it will take.

I love it when the Church Times puts something out which views doubt as human and biblical!

If your theology/church tells you that you’ll go to hell if you doubt, they’ve not read about Jacob wrestling with God!

Two ways: Pope Francis visits a prison in Rome and, after spending time with inmates, blows them kisses. He said, "I ask myself: Why them and not me?" Rep. Moore visits a jail in El Salvador and gave a thumbs up to their suffering. Which way would Jesus, imprisoned during the Passion, prefer?

This is looks so cool. So often Biblical Studies forgets that we need to be able to see and inhabit places to truly understand their contexts and feel part of the narrative ourselves.

If anyone has any more interactive and academic guides/resources for the Bible, let me know! 😊
