Aquemini is my favorite of the releases from that day closely followed by Black Star. I’m biased though lol

Maryland is kind of like the dividing line between north and south on the east coast so I heard people pronounce it like that there as well growing up.

Being a Ravens fan seeing Flacco in a Browns jersey will always be weird to me. That being said I’m not complaining either given we got Lamar.

Not gonna lie I might do this at work.

I wont act like I'm not subscribed to a streaming service but FUCK Spotify. I will never use them (even though the others fuck over artists too). With that being said I make sure I try to buy something instead of just stream if it's financially possible.

Oh for the love of chat

Welp... leave it to a racist to also say incestuous things about his own mother.

That no good jazz cabbage.

I’ll be there! I’m pumped for it. Haven’t been to a concert since 2019.

Definitely had to give a donation. While I don't live in Illinois it's important that progressives back actual progressives so we dont have to keep on dealing with Centrists liberals from the Democratic Party.
April 23, 2025 at 10:26 PM
That part. White liberals really think they’re progressive when in actuality they’re part of the problem. Voting against Trump doesn’t automatically make you an expert in basic human decency. A lot of White liberals can’t seem to grasp that though.

I still remember where I was, what I was doing, and what I was wearing when I first heard OB4CL. I was actually listening to it last night. Rae is still one of my hip hop super heroes.

It might be a hot take but I think OB4CL is better than 36 Chambers. I love both though.

Necros a cornball. He's always used the N word and never grew out of the ''shock rap'' phase. He's a racist AND a homophobe. One of the most obvious cases of a culture vulture that I can think of.

It's sad how soft they are. The majority have been either silent or cozying up next to Trumps people. Its gross.
March 14, 2025 at 6:20 AM
I loved That 70s show too but I can't get past Danny Masterson being a rapist. There's obvious examples and then those who dont physically do anything but promote dangerous ideals.
March 11, 2025 at 8:47 AM
Then as a sports fan there's guys like Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre. Two of the most talented QBs ever.. but I can't get past who they are as people and how dangerous to the youth they are.

Is MMLP still a classic? Absolutely. Is his rapping display on that album next level? Absolutely as is the creativity. Its importance to hip hop can't be overlooked. But there needs to be a discussion on some of the content in terms of being anti woman and the homophobia.

I completely agree Friends is dumb. I think where I draw the line is bigotry and morally corrupt. While Eminem has shown a lot of growth as a human.. having a gay father it's hard to get past how often he used slurs early on in his career.
March 11, 2025 at 8:19 AM
Hey I understand it's a hot take. I just personally never found it funny. I also dont like Friends. It also doesn't help that Michael Richards went on a racist tirade on stage years after it ended. The impact of the show is still there sure. But on top of not being funny FOR ME, that killed it.

Seinfeld too. Overrated ass show. I never saw the appeal of it.

Ticket purchased!

Beans on toast.. still blasphemous.

I think I've said this before to you under a post (can't remember where) but you have one of the best discographies in hip hop. It's rare to see an artist be around for as long as you with no misses. MASSIVE impact on me and my way of thinking. I gotta hit a show when/if you come to Sacramento.

It was only a matter of time sadly.
