1000% agree. Even if you go beyond this list, it feels like a lot of players I wouldn’t rather have than Reaves, until you get to names you just can’t get. I have to admit my bias toward Reaves though.

Same - I really supported it at first, but it turned into guys not taking responsibility. The two guys who sent the message: Kobe’s Agent, and the guy who helped build the Kobe line at Nike. 🤔

As frustrating as it is to see AD get passed over for DPOY, I feel like the reaction to this trade is worse. He’s been on the court, his play has been great, but he wants a system where he can play with other bigs and that’s not how LA is constructed. Also Christie is way better than Knecht.

Kyrie plus AD is going to be good. Mavs are building a team where AD makes sense and can thrive. I am sure the shock of losing Luka is huge, but I really like this move. And frankly the Lakers played the best game of their season against the Knicks. Not as crazy as the initial reaction suggests.

I’m a basketball guy and totally agree. I think they wanted to send a message to that the player empowerment era is getting an adjustment. AD constantly saying he wants to play 4 and complaining about the roster, and Luka being out of shape. Fan of both players and both teams, and I like the move.

I get the backlash, but I don’t agree with the disrespect of AD. He’s a more legit DPOY than Gobert. He’s top 10 but struggled to make LA his team in a way that Luka won’t. Two incredible but problematic top 10 players who you could never get a proper pay back for but who share similar risks.
