What is up with redesigns that just suck. @bleachereport.bsky.social has totally pulled a Sonos and redesigned the app to the point it’s almost unusable. Can someone find out what kind of design process and user research has become en vogue that is leading such bad outcomes?

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

@billsimmons.bsky.social question for the pod: what happened to stars in the NBA? I just don’t see any Bird/Kobe/MJ/Magic DNA in the league right now. Ant v KD is one of the first glimpses we’ve seen, but that felt 1x. Will we ever see one inspired by the Curry/LeBron era?

Unpopular Opinion: Book 1 is the first basketball shoe design I've liked since the Kobe 11 - and as a casual wear shoe I like it more. It will be up there with Jordan 1 for casual wear if we get more colorways like the Gump.
