Interesting.. recovery = how much rock was actually pulled out vs total length drilled. Just would expect a different type of contact if a rhyolite lava (vs tuff or intrusive), so was wondering if any rock was lost.

What’s the recovery? Not much rhyolite/light rock- maybe a metamorphosed tuff or something? It’s pretty thin & contacts are hard to tell what’s up. Really neat to see!

I’m fortunate (I guess) that I didn’t know about it till I had cancer at 42.. also one of the “least” bad mutations. Just puts things in perspective- life’s short, so enjoy it!
