Yeah, it’s really sad news. That was a big show for me as a kid.

With that said, I’ve been thrilled with how Breslow has been running things so far. I think people thought he was way in over his head (prematurely, of course), but he seems to be finding his footing and making good, smart moves.

I hated all the trash the “fans” heaped on him. He shouldn’t have taken the blame for Betts. That was happening no matter who was in charge. And while I don’t think he made the best moves for the team, especially with pitching, he deserves most of the credit for the farm and the future of the team.
