Take a breath. Find some space, clear your head. Do something for yourself. The world is a big place. There are plenty of things that demand your attention. You'll get to them. For a moment, do something for yourself.

There's a lot going on. Find some time, find something you love doing, and do it. Find some peace in the storm. That doesn't mean ignore what's going on in the world around you... but you don't need to allow events to control you.

It's Wednesday. Focus on something positive. There's a lot going on, it's easy to lose hope. People are good. People care about you, and nothing (good or bad) lasts forever. We'll get through this together.

Everyone should practice martial arts for at least six months in their life. I've been training for 40 years... it will alter how you look at life, how you see yourself, and how you relate to people around you.

If you're over 35, train in a legitimate form of Taijiquan. Thank me later.

I started training in martial arts in 1985. The real turning point was when I met my final teacher, Shifu John Scott. Nearly 10 years later, and I have no regrets making the commitment to his lineage.
