Oddly, this might be one of the few "privileges or immunities" issues that still has teeth. Even in the Slaughterhouse Cases, where SCOTUS gutted the privileges or immunities clause, it said that one of the "privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States" was (1/2)

Next time we’re in an economic depression, just let toddlers run the country – they’ll pay people to use excavators to dig up piles of rocks, put them in dump trucks, and transport them to other holes dug by excavators, to dump the rocks in. And then use a bulldozer to smooth the grade.
