Area-wide 6" is a near-guarantee by Sunday morning. Higher amounts the farther north that you live.

After that, the focus is on Thanksgiving & the days around it for travel. Looking good for driving or flying this year... but chilly!!

As we approach Thanksgiving, the theme is COLD. Luckily, I do not think we'll have major travel issues. Watching late Thanksgiving and Black Friday for some snow showers, but at this point, nothing major.

This far out, confidence in temperatures is very high. I know many want to know about rain/snow. Right now, the Thanksgiving travel period looks OK. Given the blast of cold air, one would suspect we see SOME lake effect snow. How much (if any??)... TBD. It's 10ish days away.

It does appear to be a bit more active around & after Thanksgiving. Not necessarily big snows or anything as of now, but the pattern is definitely going to take a dip in late November... it's going to get cold (highs in 20s/30s). So be ready for that.

The focus then is on the upcoming weekend. It's the last ND home game, and every single ND fan is looking for some DRY weather after some very soggy home games! Right now... not looking too bad.
