Go see live theatre.

Whether it be something grand, a tight 5, or anything in between, it doesn't matter.

It's real. It's in the moment. It's truth.

Announcing the second play for our 2026 season!

Jeffrey Hatcher's brilliant script is a true psychological thriller. Anyone, or everyone could be Hyde! It's very Crow City. We are so excited!
Between Jekyll & Hyde and Shockheaded Peter, expect a year full of horror, laughs, music and dark!

Allowing yourself to get lost and wander aimlessly is good for the creative spirit, as long as you can take your experience and put it into focus.

Take drawing lessons now. Even if you never are as good as you wanna be you will thank yourself 25 years from now that you can communicate visually.

Communication breaks down in this outrageous black comedy filled with blood, myth, wildlife, vengeance, karma, and laughs.

The playwright, Steve Yockey, is a master of darkly funny plays. We are thrilled to bring one of his twisted tales to Rochester.

Everyone, I know the world is trash, and so it feels like an important time to support artists, and women, and transgender artists, and queer artists, and ANYWAY, this is a long way of saying my friend Penny is in a one-woman show and you should go see it:

As a theatre artist I am only truly happy working in real life, face to face with other people. The Internet seems to suck empathy out of the human soul.

A dog to hug, a cool breeze in the shade, a waterside to visit, warm food, a cozy cafe, a sketchbook, theatre rehearsal...the rest seems like madness.

Theatre isn't just entertainment. It can be a force for the community, for social change. It is ancient and primal. It's counterculture. It conjures gods and demons in the flesh and bends reality; subversive and dangerous. It's a safety net for the vulnerable. Seeing plays makes the world better.
