If you told somebody in the 90s that we have AI in 2025 they would be amazed. They'd ask whether or not it's like in the movies, if AI has rights, can they feel emotions etc. Then if you told them it steals art to make drawings of big tiddy waifus they'd ask if all the smart people died in a war.

Finally going back to chipping away at the Remedyverse by playing Alan Wake's American Nightmare and holy shit what an improvement from the base game. The visuals are better, the combat is better, and Alan can run for more than ten seconds. Hopefully there are no more story beats that are just:

It's amazing, you can have over a decade and a half of experience using 3D software....
You can have used a specific piece of software for over a year...
and still find out that the reason your rig is not working in Blender is because it has a dedicated "pose mode."

I can confirm that the first three of ten absolutely nail the task of being King of the Hill. I will circle back when further research is done.
First episode of the King of the Hill revival and it is absolutely excellent. Can't wait to binge watch the rest.

AI art will always be inferior because there's no way to say "here's something nobody cared enough to make but I think you should spend some of your finite time on this Earth looking at it" without it coming across as an insult.

Still can't believe we're living in a world where Giant Bomb basically saved the rec center. Just straight up living the plot to the 1989 Weird Al vehicle UHF. Not to put too much emphasis on it but it legitimately did re-affirm my faith that SOMETIMES the best possible thing CAN happen.
