It's never with malice when you're having fun and not on the receiving end.
How dare the rest of us think he's racist!

I have been in despair for years over the promotion of this wretched man.

If it wasn't a Christmas party, John wouldn't have been there. How difficult does it have to be?

It's hard to have pride in a person or institution that fails to be truthful.

Seems a common theme amongst those with power these days.

It's a deep delusion that is reinforced with this situation. We all grew up with stories about the horrors of WW2. The dehumanising of the Holocaust, the cruelty of experimentation. We were supposed to be better than that. All part of the lies a society tells to feel better about itself.

Calculations were made. Your families were just part of the sum. It's a cold disregard to individuals for the greater good of the nation. Secrecy has allowed those that made these decisions to live their lives without fear of scrutiny. They knew then or they wouldn't have hidden it.

It's a deep frustration trying to get a person or institution to admit what is clearly obvious to everyone else. It's mirrored by quite a few things in this world that are trying to evade accountability for past actions. But "they" knew the price of their decisions when they made them.

I've seen this a week late, for which can only apologise. Anxiety is a curse. My wife suffers considerably. Every positive seems insignificant and every negative is confirmatory.

Are you saying Doctor Avalanche couldn't change genres? I'm off to listen to Lucretia My Reflection till I calm down 🤣

I'm old enough to remember the times Rishi had to amend his budgets.
It's from a time when the world moved more slowly.

Most of these things were predictable for the last 2 years.
If the Tories were still in charge they'd have to clean up their own mess or disappear further into unreality.
Labour really couldn't win but I'm upset by some of their choices.
