Here’s a more current video of the gosling, trying its best to walk in our local pond.

Question for #birdsky — our neighborhood Sandhill Cranes have adopted a gosling to raise along with their colt this year. The gosling has done well but seems to be learning to walk like a crane.

Any idea what this means long-term for this goose? Will it always act as a crane? Will it survive?

Grateful to report that despite our world’s many, many, *many* troubles, moose still exist.
