Question for #birdsky — our neighborhood Sandhill Cranes have adopted a gosling to raise along with their colt this year. The gosling has done well but seems to be learning to walk like a crane.
Any idea what this means long-term for this goose? Will it always act as a crane? Will it survive?

Some personal news — my partner and I eloped to Antarctica!
On December 20, about three minutes south of the Antarctic Circle, my partner and I exchanged wedding vows in front of the captain, crew, and passengers of the SH Vega.
We are married!
