The Vietnamese community has contributed so much to San José — strengthening our economy, enriching our culture, and leading in every sector from small business to public service.

Here in San José, home to the largest Vietnamese community outside of Vietnam, we honor the families who fled unimaginable hardship to seek freedom and opportunity, and who helped shape the city we are today.

We’ve seen Todd Gloria in San Diego step up. We’ve seen Daniel Lurie in San Francisco step up. But too many of our smaller neighbors are stepping back. We cannot allow that. Because the only way we end unsheltered homelessness across California is together.
