I haven't googled anything related to it for several months. The most recent relevant thing I can think of is that I bought a rubber mat from Amazon (not Temu) several months ago. Yikes 🙃

A couple of things I'd be interested to know more about:

-What forms of payment are most suitable (eg flat fee, hourly, rev share, etc)?

-Is "crunch" inevitable in game dev, or are there any effective ways to avoid it?

Maybe some kind of issue with converting from MP3 to WAV? The glitchy sound is definitely visible in the waveform, so it seems like it's within the audio file itself. That wouldn't explain it being inconsistent though 🤔

The other "bons" look fine, so you might be able to fix by using one of those

Oh interesting, I guess that's on both versions then. I'm much more familiar with the GBA, which I'm super nostalgic for because it's one of the first games I ever played

Word of warning - the level "Poochie ain't stupid" is pretty torturous, not sure if that's on the SNES version or not!

You doing Yoshi's Island on switch or GBA? The GBA version has a system where you can give yourself stars that you unlock in bonus rounds, which makes it way easier to make it to the end with full stars. So I've got 100% on it but it feels a bit cheaty compared to the SNES version 😉
