Given how common false positive are in this field, very rigorous protocols have been published in the past 5-6 years. Surprising, and somewhat disappointing, that scientific papers still get published where only part of these protocols are followed, casting doubts on the reported results.

This was once true but not anymore. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has just announced (summer 2024) to have installed 2.8 MW of solar panels on campus.
