Not at all. I learnt about Clarke from the Rogue Heroes TV show. Then read the brilliant book by Ben Macintyre. This is the obvious much-needed follow on. The most fascinating character.

I also read in bed. Time is anywhere between five mins and 30 mins before I fall asleep. I also have the terrible habit - especially when reading non-fiction - of getting interested in something mentioned in the book and having to Google it … which takes me down a rabbit hole.

Agreed. “Impressive” is exactly the word that kept popping up when reading. Excellent piece of writing too.
