Dad, photography, data, computer systems.
Lovely. How are you doing the lighting? I think I can see a single constant light.

How wonderful to hear of yet more chemistry and a college that teaches film photography! As I’m in the uk I doubt that I shall ever see it, but one day I might be lucky.
I’ve mostly been using Adonal (Rodinal) but recently I’ve started using pmk pyro as Adonal is too harsh on Arista Ortho Litho.

What is sprint developer? I’ve tried googling it but just get references to agile software development.

Did you develop it yourself? The last c41 developing I did came out just like that as the developer was off. (Learnt a lesson that day)

Candido 800 might be a good choice for underwater - if you can find some 😕.

Here in the uk fomapan tends to be the cheapest film. As I’m still learning I want to maximise the number of photos I take.
I’m looking forward to trying orthochromatic x-ray film once I’m more comfortable. I’ve found a medical supply retailer who sells it cheap.

Hey there!

Every day with large format photography is a struggle, it almost makes me cry. I love it.

I have a new-vue 4x5 camera, all metal, weighs a ton, fully adjustable with a linhof 135mm lens.

I’m using fomapan 100 film. I’m obsessed with how much data I can store on 4x5.

All in all I am not happy with this photo. The contrast / dynamic range is a bit lower than I hoped for. I wanted darked blacks and brighter whites. The long expose can be painfully seen in the blured branches. The focus in general is soft. Still, I learn and next time hope to address these issues.

I used my new 135mm lens on my large format camera. Fomapan 200 4x5. f32 and I think 1/10 second exposure. Unfortunately I forgot my magnifying loupe so focus is by eye. I needed some tilt to get the foregroud and background in focus.
