I think about this a lot, since my dad has crossed that bridge. I’m not sure it can be combatted, especially since it’s now linked to identity and in-groups. This is who some people always were, and now they feel safe giving voice to it.

Robyn, hello! It *has* been a while - hope life is treating you well.

It's a fair question. I quit Facebook 4-5 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment. But for those that want a platform like that, this app gives me a little hope that an alternative to FB is possible.
