They're not sacrificing ACA recipients. They're saving the people that are under threat NOW to potentially save ACA recipients LATER. I'm not sure what about this you're not understanding. This was literally the best thing they could do.

I mean, the alternative was letting those on SNAP starve and people working government jobs to continue not getting paid. Saving them now and dealing with the insurance parts later is honestly the most practical solution.
