We have to figure out some method of national repentance and atonement because it’s not sustainable to have roughly half the nation be completely psychotic, we literally can’t afford to write off tens of millions of people, and we can’t let them avoid owning what they did or they’ll do it again.

Every best-case scenario is a long shot right now, not just for the US, but for the human race. I am an organizer. I look for windows of possibility, and I aim at them. I don't settle into what seems likely or inevitable, and if everyone did, there wouldn't be any hope of getting out of any of this.
