The Democratic Party proved once again to have no coherent message.

Kirk’s killing was an opportunity to talk about mental health funding, the good guy with gun myth is bs, red flag laws, gun locks… solutions to keep this from happening again. The right offers only anger and retribution.

Trump’s actions in Epstein file cover up and the lengths he has gone to to keep this information from the public should make his guilt obvious.

It should also make every thinking person question Biden and his administration’s weakness and ineptitude.

Oh, another Supreme Court Justice taking millions for a book and cashing in on their “public office” in real time.

Anywhere else in the world this is considered public corruption and an easy vehicle for outright bribery.

10 months in I want follow ups on the breathless reporting post election on:

1. Young men going GOP.

2. Green Party voters feelings now.

3. Administration action on trans surgeries in schools.

4. Hispanic voters realignment to the GOP.

5. Administration actions on people eating dogs.

The Other lesson from the Epstein scandal: maybe Democrats should focus on electing politicians with the gumption to enforce the law and hold their AG to account when they fail and allow:

Rapists to escape charges.

Judges to accept millions in bribes without charges.

The rule of law means that when evidence of probable cause that rich and powerful people have committed a serious crime occurs they should be arrested and jailed like every other suspected criminal.

RIP to John Feinstein. Always a knowledgeable and thoughtful voice. The very best of the era before the ESPN devolved into hot takes and screaming matches.

Member of Congress- big job.

Leadership in Congress- huge job.

Leadership while Musk/Trump destroy the government- colossal job.

Schumer and Jeffries let’s go on a book tour.

Watching Governor Hochul’s press conference. When people say both parties are the same, this is what they’re talking about. Mayor clearly taking bribes then makes a deal with Trump to save himself from prison. Totally corrupt. Hochul with the power to remove the corrupt person from office, refuses.

I’ve seen enough. Chris Paul to run the Democratic Party. Break the norms, win.

Nancy Mace making all these allegations on the House floor may be because Article 1, Section 6, Clause 1 of the US Constitution does not allow her to be sued, even if her allegations were knowingly false, defamatory…

Most Democrats running for office are basically running a small business from scratch. The party doesn’t find and recruit candidates. They only care about fundraising. No wonder there is little talent, a lot of corruption and moneyed decisions being made.

Serious question: I’m not seeing Democrats out there (exc. AOC) with strong messaging against the most unpopular parts of Trump’s actions. Is it because: A. Media is not covering Dems; B. Dems are letting all this sink in; C. Dems awaiting marching orders; D. Dems are scared to speak out?

Preemptive pardons? Four days left.

Bunch of Democratic Senators making points about Hegseth on flip flops, misogyny and sexual abuse. Those are not deal killers for the GOP majority. Drunk on the job is. The lack of message discipline on what will actually succeed rather than what Dems think should succeed is maddening.

Once again we learn that judges only punch down.

I suggest criminal defense attorneys everywhere request their clients convicted of less than 35 felonies receive unconditional discharge.

It’s almost 2025. To understand the current GOP political environment one must have a grade school education in Wolfpack dynamics and in avant-garde makeup/ styling. Full hair transplant=alpha; shoe polish face=beta; heavy eyeliner=omega. Thanks YouTube.

Once again the House Democrats playing 3D chess: finding yet another elderly person for a leadership role. This way when Trump uses catch phrases from the 1950s in negotiations, Dems will be able to fully understand and counter. A true masterstroke.

When there are no real limits on campaign contributions, judges are open to millions in bribes without penalty and major media outlets are bought for a rounding error on a billionaire’s ledger it should come as no surprise that the richest man on earth bends the entire political system to his whim.

If it hadn’t been for Cotton eyed Joe we’d had a new nominee a long time ago. Where did ya come from, where do we go? Thanks for all the fish, Cotton eyed Joe.

I have lucked into a few dozen followers on this app. Oddly, followers in this app appear to be regular people, both men and women following in real time. On the bad site it was a continuous stream of beautiful bikini clad women from around the world following a post I made a year prior. Weird.

The details revealed by investigators on the Brian Thompson murder, tracing the killer back on video cameras over days is impressive. Looks like thousands of hours of amazing work by police and FBI.

Also, in 2023 less than 50% of murders nationwide were cleared. www.npr.org/2023/04/29/1...
More people are getting away with murder. Unsolved killings reach a record high
U.S. murder clearance or solve rates have hit an all-time low. Experts say mutual mistrust between police and some communities is creating a vicious cycle where unsolved killings breed more mistrust.

I would like to think Biden will proactively pardon people on Trump’s enemies list. The reality of the threat Trump poses to people like Liz Cheney and Jack Smith has diverged greatly from the speeches and inaction since the election by Biden. It may be one and done, only for his son.

Rooting for the DOJ and gooey remains of the justice system versus Trump for the past 7 years feels like having high expectations for Wile E. Coyote.
