Yes, you've identified the challenges. But these exist in NY, Paris, San Francisco, Portland, etc., where I'm going to guess they have some of the same challenges. It's a little hard to picture an economic recovery for downtown Minneapolis that doesn't involve people being able to go to the bathroom

Strong agree - I will also look forward to not having to convince my kids we shouldn't spend FIVE DOLLARS on a hunk of plastic they will immediately forget about as soon as we get home

Okay right - that makes it feel a bit less dangerous, but also feels like the scope would then be pretty small? Unless they're acquiring new property (e.g. Luther Seminary?)

But the more you weigh that against the $$ you could make from e.g. leasing them to private daycare cos (which I think is what they're already doing to some extent?) they less likely it is you're going to make the hard choice of keeping them as a more abstract public good

Example: the city owns a bunch of rec centers that are now _very_ underused. I would love to reinvest in opening them as a community spaces. That's not going to be a profit center, it's going to be a diffuse benefit to St. Paul residents.

I'm definitely wary of this (though agreed that creative financing solutions are worth hearing about). But I feel like once you start financializing city property you then really have to justify every cent of its value as a public good, because you could always lease/sell it

I'm not here to defend the AI because I would 100% believe it just confidently gave you a wrong answer, but is it possible that it was doing the top 3 consecutive vs top 5 consecutive days? Those could theoretically be different.

They are obviously up there because they are plotting to destroy the usurper of their avian supremacy, the giant silver loon

Bonus aspect: it was a great way to do a first game at Allianz for our little kids! Free admission so you can bail if you need to, not too crowded, short lines for food

When we lived in NY and didn't have a car I used to take the Car2Go smart cars sometimes and I looked _exactly_ like that guy
