📺 This week at the Town Hall I raised the future of Coldharbour Adventure Play Centre which has been put in doubt by the Council's "review", for the second time in recent years. Just like last time, we'll do everything we can to protect it (1/2)

🚗𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐓𝐍𝐬 - 7,000 fines. Signage still not correct. Charlton & Blackheath boundary roads suffering. Installation costs soaring. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥. Here's my question to Labour's Averil Lekau on the need to share ALL data with public 👇

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 from the Council Chamber - Greenwich Council has just withdrawn its plan to close the Animal Park! Well done to everyone who fought this non-sensical proposal 🎉🎉🎉

Busy week ahead as we continue to oppose multiple flaws in the #GreenwichBudget, so needed one of these! 👇 #sundayrunday round Charlton, Woolwich, Eltham, New Eltham, Coldharbour, Mottingham, Kidbrooke and Blackheath. So many runners out!

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: I've written to Greenwich Council Leader Anthony Okereke, urging him to withdrawal the proposal to close #Charlton's Maryon Wilson Animal Park. If it is NOT withdrawn, the Opposition Group of councillors will put this to a separate, dedicated Town Hall vote

I've had it confirmed that Greenwich Council's plan to close the Animal Park will save just £5,000 over four years 🤦‍♂️ Labour councillors need to scrap this plan

Greenwich Council is pressing on with plans to sell the Equestrian Centre and Green Garth in Shooters Hill. This week we and local groups urged Labour councillors to consult the community first - they refused 👇

Increasingly clear to all concerned that Labour lied their way into government.

And many Labour MPs 👇 now feeling the consequences of their unique combination of pre-election sanctimony and under-delivery now in govt. Result = trust in politics declines even further.

Greenwich Council is 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 the closure of Coldharbour Police Base - an abject failure of communities in the south of the borough. Cllr Roger Tester & I handed in our petition signed by 1,500 residents at City Hall, and we are working with @thomasfturrell.bsky.social AM against the plan 📺👇

Businesses are worried about Greenwich Council's plans to sell off car parks. I spoke to Gino Gashi from Caffe Moca on Old Dover Road about how this will impact his trade👇

At the Town Hall this week I'm calling for a full Economic Impact Assessment www.greenwichconservatives.com/news/busines...

It appears that the #Greenwich Labour Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture & Communities Ann-Marie Cousins has been removed from her Cabinet post. No announcement made.

Is the public going to be told why?

What did Labour expect? And this is before the *actual impact* of this completely self-defeating Budget 🤦🏻‍♂️
