A gas betrayal. King plan favours foreign buyers, gas cartel over mums and dads - Michael West
The Government’s Gas Reservation Policy is nothing short of a betrayal. They claim it will put downward pressure on gas and electricity prices. It won’t.

Jim Chalmers has done a good job of managing the small stuff but Australians need a treasurer thinking much bigger than “what would Sussan Ley say about that?” Our preoccupation with the size of the deficit has blinded us to the huge opportunities we face www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/news/politic...
The fight Chalmers has to have
ANALYSIS: Having finally persuaded most voters that it is the better economic manager, Labor is well placed to pursue an obvious solution to the problems to come.

This is one of the best interviews I’ve listened to on Sunday’s mass shooting.

And of course - it’s produced by independent media with a real expert.

Imagine that!

Australia doesn't have a gas supply problem, we have a gas export problem.

Good to see the govt considering diverting export gas to the 🇦🇺 market. This should apply to existing projects. There's simply no need for new gas.

Looming east coast gas reserve could cut prices by 20pc
Labor is targeting a domestic reservation system that would ensure enough extra gas to bring down prices but not so much that producers rein in output.
